For months (years?), we’ve been discussing the history, the people, the songs, and the culture that formed the dances we love. And then, in a very special, LIVE MUSICIAN edition, we took advantage of the immense talent of Joshua Fialkoff of The Fried Bananas/The Downtown Shimmy to help expand our muscial horizions (or discussions)! And y’all begged for more. And we’re delivering!
More details are coming Super Soon but we can tell you that we’ve got 2 days of classes with Josh! That’s 2 (TWO!) days of music-learnin’ with one of the favourites of the Blues Community! You absolutely, positively won’t want to miss this!
And as a super added bonus, when you’re done daytime learnin’, you join us and Josh as we head over to TUX 9 for some super fantastic evening dancin’!
If you want to geek out on all the nitty-gritty, these classes are for you! If you want your pressing questions answered, remember that curiosity killed the cat… but these classes are still for you! If you want to better understand the dance, these classes are for you! Basically, you won’t want to miss this very unique offering!
